Kabir Dubey

Hi! I am a first year Ph.D. student in computer science at Northwestern University. My goal is to improve computer systems for quantum simulation and high-dimensional data processing. I'm particularly interested in what we can learn about these problems through a quantum algorithmic lens.

I graduated with a B.Sc. in mathematics and minor in computer science from the University of Chicago in June 2024. As an undergraduate, my research focus was in quantum adiabatic optimization and mathematical physics. Before that, I worked on machine learning models for accelerator physics and cellular agriculture.

Currently, I am studying topological quantum error correction. In the summer of 2025, I will be a graduate student research assistant at Berkeley National Lab.

I love to collaborate. Please feel free to email me at `kabir [at] u [dot] northwestern [dot] edu`. I am also on LinkedIn and GitHub.
